TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

Teaching Philosophy Statement
My teaching philosophy mainly focuses on enhancing the capabilities of students in their future professional practice and self-improvement. I always create conducive environment in which learning can take place, and stimulate the students' development, helping them in terms of knowledge, techniques, and encouragement. I believe self-initiative in life-long learning and two-way communication is very important whereby they can have freedom to think, comment, and criticize. This will train them to be more independence on how to gather new knowledge and solve problems. For improving effectiveness as an instructor, I always learn from my previous experiences and refer to learning materials of dynamics of teaching related to my field.

TEACHING GOALS

Teaching Goals Statement
I continue to find better methods to improve my teaching and make the learning process enjoyable to the students. I always try to improve my lecturing skills by attending workshop or seminar on effectiveness of teaching. I will also seek for the advice of my seniors and implement their methods which can help me to improve my teaching. Besides improving the teaching methods, I always try to establish a good relationship with the student and create a friendly and conformable learning environment.
