TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
| Teaching Philosophy Statement |
| Teaching is a learning process. Teachers do not only teach their students but learned from them as well. I strongly believed that the experience of teaching a subject repeatedly to different groups of students will provide me with different insights of the subject matter. From years of teaching, I realised that my teaching improves because in the process of teaching my students, I learned from them. |
| + I treat all my students equally, regardless of age, gender, race, religion & intellectual ability. + I make it clear that I am always available on request and I'm devoted and willing to allocate my time when my students are in need of personal tuition/guidance. + I try to understand my students point of view before attempting to give them my own. + I try to set a good professional example in written solutions and in conversation, by always referring everything back to the standards of the engineering industry. |
